As the influence of economic development and cheaper airlines, an increasing number of people tend to airline travel and hence airports have become a place where costs travelers most transport time. Therefore, an airport is not only a hub offers flights but also a “hospitality” place where provides dining and entertainments.

Many people tend to book cheap flight tickets and the biggest common of most cheap flight is they are connecting flights, which means the flight needs to stop at a transfer airport for one or more hours. Even some travelers are required to transfer at two or three airports. In the old days, most travelers used to spend their dull time on mobile devices, reading, or being in a daze while waiting the next flight. In recently years, more and more airports are trying to focus on internal construction, the amenities, the designs, and automatic devices are put into airports, which provide travelers a superior experience.

Most airports provides plenty of retail stores and tax free shops with passengers, especially international flight terminals. Those stores are popular since travelers can kill time through doing shopping while waiting for the transfer flights. Facilities & services

Basically, airport services includes baggage enquiries, Internet access, cash machines, currency exchange, postal services, etc. But these basic services are not the standards when passengers measuring the performance of airport terminals. Nowadays, in order to convenient to the passengers, more and more airports have provided more facilities such as prayer room, for those need somewhere for prayer or quiet reflection; bag wrapping and weighing; family facilities, for those need to keep kids happy and entertained at the airport. If an airport wants to attract more passengers, additional concessions, or new carriers, it has to commit to making better customer experience a top priority. As one of the hospitality industries, the role of airports is making their customer experience designed and humanity. And humanity is something at which the staff works overtime.
